What a night! Hearing that Peter Green tone filling the Albert hall was a truly emotional experience - not ashamed to say it brought a tear to my eye. The stories that 'burst could tell... So fitting that JB as the heir apparent of Greeny and Clapton, and adopted Brit (!) should be the one to play it. Thanks for an awesome night Joe and for bringing me as close to hearing Greeny as I'll probably ever get.

So many great guitarists reckon the beast is the best guitar they have ever played. The way it sounded during Midnight Blues tonight, I think they may be right.

I thought the Beast was Bernie's LP and not the one that Gary Moore had given him by Peter Green?

Pretty sure the Beast is Bernie Marsden's 'burst. Some people have said it came out for the encore. Greeny's LP definitely showed up as well. Unmistakable tone.
