Yes, but if you ring up the venue (02085633800), it states that the show starts at 8 and runs til approx. 10.30.
Thanks lads, that's where my confusion was - assuming the apollo have it right with 8pm (you'd think at least)

You'd think so indeed. However when i got through to The Shepherds Bush Empire yesterday, in order to find out stage times, so could plan route home (can take 2 different routes by train depending on how much time I have to make the relevant connection), I was told that stage times would be 8-10.30, hence why i was surprised when the show ended at 9.45. However they were correct about the start of the show. Whatever the running times I can't wait for this evening, even though i fear it will be hard for the next 2 nights to beat last nights performance, but then again Blues Night (for me anyway) was always going to be hard to top, even for Joe, whatever its order in the sequence of shows. However i know that Joe won't disappoint.
The times on teh tickets are notoriously misleading , and also the tickets are printed months in advance.
The Hammersmith Apollo phone line states Doors at 7.00 pm and Joe is on at 8.00 ... (so I am assuming there is no support act) Show runs through to 22.30
Or whenever Joe feels he's had enough !
I wonder what the line -up / the set list / the format of tonight will be ?
Here's hoping for a great show !!
No doubt will be an awesome show, his last shows at the Apollo have blown me away. Bring on tonight, then RAH on saturday, what a way to top off the week!
Great show tonight
Thank you Mr Bonamassa
The show was amazing. The band were really on fire tonight. The set started out with an acoustic section with songs such as seagull, jellyroll, richmond, athens to athens and woke up dreaming. The electric section kicked in with cradle rock, When the Fire hits the sea, dustbowl. Doug Henthorn sang back up vocals on driving towards the daylight and my personal highlight of the night, Dislocated boy. He did sing on some others which escape me at the moment. He then ofcourse sang main vocals on Tea for One. Joe also performed who's been talking and the ballad of john henry. He then encored with sloe gin and finally Just got paid. Im sure there were a number of songs ive forgotten.
To sum up it was an amazing night and a great performance from Joe and the band.

Ya better believe it Jane. Pre and post show hangs at pubs every night and last night even though there was no show. Only one small problem. The darned pubs close at 12.
