Hah! He not only played a strat, he played TWO different ones.
I thought those were funny looking Les Pauls
The strat on Pain and Sorrow seems to have a white/cream neck binding?
Thanks for the uploads!

Just like the old days with a great review from the legend that is Michael and to see well known faces front of stage at the Borderline. Thank you so much for posting the vids - loved the all.
Really miss those early days and these vids brought it back.
Feeling emotional now.
See you all Saturday.

Re: The Borderline
Thanks to all who attended and shared comments and vids. After watching what has been put up so far all I can say is I bow down to the Bonamonster. Joe you are on fire right now. I do not know what has taken hold of you but you just blistered those guitar solos. hope you keep all the stuff shot at the borderline on the upcoming dvd.
Pete and Rick, thank you. For us that did not get to go, this stuff is just what we hoped would happen and we totally appreciate your sharing it. Got weepy when I watched blues deluxe, hope bad kitty gets to see this, she will freak out. hope jane h sees pain and sorrow. while shorter than older versions, the emotion was better i think.
thanks again guys

Planet Rock review :
Re: The Borderline
I like the Planet Rock review better than the Independent one, but I don't get the feeling either reviewer really knew Joe's work. This show wasn't just early songs, and the reappearance of Fender guitars was historic. I like the reviews from fan attendees much better.

Totally +1.
