George, now you've seen two very different shows. What a killer set of songs both nights! Thanks for buring the midnight oil so the films could be posted. Cheap thrills Cathy
Hell, that's just the kind of gal you are.
Indeed, I've never seen two such different concerts on consecutive days. Very different, very refreshing, and just a hint of what awaits the London crowd next week.
Next up, Yonders Wall.

Wow has this song been dressed up. I love that little interplay with Arlan and the nicely extended version. Killer tone he gets from that Lester. Thanks again George.

George....
I was just telling Kevin and Roy to cut the journos hanger on photographers that just suck the life out of you and find Geroge, Cathy and the gang that normally hangs out at the gigs.... Peter VW was there and it was such a blast and comforting to be surrounded by real friends... I hope you dug the show..... It was rough for me.... Tomorrow it will be different and you wont see those people up in the front taking pictures bothering the fans...Joe B
Thanks Joe! It was way better without these annoying photographers. What I find most disturbing of all, is that they all have digital camera's where this clicking sound can be put off, but they all just choose to let it on! And oh man, all the "panic" you caused by moving fast from the left to the right on stage several times and this herd of photographers stumble over each other. We were under the impression you did it on purpose and loved the idea, hahaha!
Thanks for the 3 shows, they were so different from the others I've seen and I simply loved them!
We had a blast yesterday (finally Asking around for you was back!) but after reading all these posts I start to wonder if we were the only ones that thought the mix between sound and vocals sucked? Once the guys stepped in Joe's voice seemed to disappear. We were in the right hand side (row 14, seats 19 and 20), just next to the corridor.
And although I understand that using HMH can accomodate more fans in one evening I hope Joe will come back to the great places like Paradiso. At least get some kind of snakepit in front of the stage ;-)

In Dutch. Joe gets a sold out HMH quiet> This is ment as a compliment because if everybody listens carefully it is muisstil (VERY quiet!)
The reader's reactions at the article in Dutch are very positive and sometimes funny.(One person wants to sell his gear because he know he sucks as a guitarplayer when he's been to Joe).
One person wasn't at the HMH but mentioned he bought the DVD right away after seeing a bit of it at the music store on a screen (never heard of Joe, but decision was made within 30 seconds).
Some complaints about the HMH according the sound (see comment above as well). The sound in the front was awesome! To me these were the first gigs with good sound at the HMH! (And I've been there a few times as it's close by.)
And ppl telling the Paradiso and Carré are more classy (which I absolutely agree!).
But all ppl agreed that Joe is an awesome guitarplayer! (While nu.nl is often used to be rude anonimous about other ppl!)
@R1200C... Nice bike! I own a F650GS.
Off Topic (sorry)

Rick
Totally agree with you. I love this version, somewhat similar to what we saw in the fall, but the Arlan and Joe exchange really adds to it and makes it even better.

Great music and great rides are a must to have a life!
One good thing about the music being overkill somethimes was that the fans around me couldn't hear me cough the lungs out of my body, hope I didn't infect anyone but missing out on Joe's concert wasn't an alternative as you can understand.
My other version of Jockey, with the 'better' phonecam.
