Topic: Xbox 360

Want to have a bad day? Try doing the same thing I did.

I just bought an Xbox 360 on Ebay for €183,-
It is the Core Edition that costs €279,- in the store.

I bought it from Germany, so had to pay €20,- for sending it to holland.

But today at school I realised that my Deutch wasn't as good as I thought (I had always trouble with my german teachers back at middleschool) so i found out that there wasn't a controller and "netzteil" with it... so i bought a controller with it for another €20,-.
Now I was already on €223,-
Still cheaper than new in the store... until I found out that "Netzteil" is german for Power Supply and i had to buy a power supply for €80,- with €5,- sending costs...

€308,- in total.. while getting exacly the same things as buying the new one in a store for €279,-...

So hereby I want to warn everyone who wants to buy something over the internet.

And kids, Pay attantion at school when learning another language. May come in handy someday.

Re: Xbox 360

Ouch!  That's too bad Jan.  Why is it that something you think is a bargain invariably turns out not to be so?  Like cheap flights to Amsterdam in October ... !

I hope you have hours of fun on your XBox.  I admit I have a games machine but not an Xbox.  When I first got it I spent all my spare hours playing, too many really but I can now proudly say that last week I actually managed to completely finish a game which I'd started playing four years ago!  Is this a record???

Re: Xbox 360

Hahahaha depents on what game it is... it took me about 10 years (i think) for me to finish Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels on the SNES. tongue
