Topic: Hello guys!!

I've been a fan of Joe for quite some time, and have been playing guitar for a little more than ten years. I play lots of different genres of music, and within the last six months I have "converted" to Joe's style/ type of blues tone that he has. As I said before, I have listened to Joe's music for quite a long time, but last November I was listening to some of Joe's live stuff on youtube as I was building my Plexi, I stumbled across the two hour video of Joe Live at Royal Albert Hall from 2009. When the video got to the song "So It's Like That" and "Last Kiss" I couldn't believe the screaming good tone he had.... So, I deviated from the SRV / R&B style and went Joe's route. I still play SRV stuff on certain amps, but for the most part I really love the saturated yet very harmonic and defined tone, and would play until my fingers bled if I had all day to play.
I repair and build handwired amplifiers, so I've come to quite a collection of my own amps, along with some vintage amps; '69 Super Reveb, '76 Bassman Ten (I've modded it for a more "Marshally" tone, and changed out speakers), Marshall JTM45 (handwired), and my beloved Marshall Plexi I built. I also decided to switch out the Celestion G12T-75's in my early 80's JCM800A cabinet and tried the first generation Eminence Delta Pro 12A's (didn't want to spend buku bucks on the EV's in case I didn't like them) and am extremely happy with them. They really put the Celestions to shame for this type of tone. If anyone would like to check out some of my projects, I do have a Facebook page called "Hendershot Instrument Repair" that you can see photos of some of my stuff if interested. In the next couple of weeks, I'll be building a Marshall Silver Jubilee 2555 to go with the rest of the family of amps.
Glad to be on the JB forum!!
