I wish it was April but I doubt they've even had time to master it yet.
Rumors are May or June. I guess we'll have to wait for the press release for a date. wink

Maybe we can read into Kevin Shirley's post on FB:

"Busy early 2013 period for Caveman releases...

Joe Bonamassa: An Acoustic Evening at the Vienna Opera House CD, DVD & BR - March 26
Iron Maiden: Maiden England DVD - March 26
Beth Hart: Bang Bang Boom Boom CD - April 2
Tracer: El Pistolero CD - May 6
Beth Hart and Joe Bonamassa: CD (to be announced)
Black Star Riders: All Hell Breaks Loose CD - May 28"

Re: Joe and Beth Hart

I believe there will be 12 tracks.

Re: Joe and Beth Hart

Sometime in May would be nice so as to have a least a little time to become familiar with the songs before seeing them live. So looking forward to June 29!

Joe has a habit of breaking out a couple of new songs on tour to support the upcoming album, rather than a song from an already released album to promote a tour, initially at least.  I half expect Beth to be singing them prior also.

Then maybe we'll have the chance to hear some in Philly when we see Beth on May 11. That would be very cool! Also will be neat to hear the difference between PJ playing them and Joe. PJ's solos have been killer on the videos I've seen recently.

Re: Joe and Beth Hart

Pure speculation but Beth recently covered Billie Holiday's "Good Morning Heartache" on Italian TV. Since I've never heard her cover this before I think it COULD be on the new one. It is a killer blues version very different from the original.

The song starts at the 6:30 mark after Whole Lotta Love:

(Beth mentioned Tina Turner, Nina Simone and Lucinda Williams as being some of the artists they covered for the new one but it sounded like not all will make the cut - they would choose the "best." I bet they're all awesome.)  wink

The writer says Don't Explain was blues rock covers. Makes me wonder who's writing these things sometimes.

That's what I was thinking too, especially since Aretha covered it. wink

So, the CD is loaded into amazon and cd universe... no picture or track list. It's apparently coming out next month (May 21) but no press release yet? Is this like top secret or something? wink

Re: Joe and Beth Hart

Working on a little street teaming here.. A few weeks ago i showed my dad an his wife the video of Joe and  Beth playing "I'll take care of you" from the Beacon Theater. Neither of them had ever heard of Beth or Joe.
I told them i was going to see them together at Bergen Fest in Norway in June.
Today my dad called and told me they also had bought tickets. And since my dad don't like flying they are going to drive almost 500 miles to get to the concert. He said they were going to plan their hole vacation around this concert..
