Franklin and Sykes together again?? That's an auto-buy for me. Those two, with Carmine Appice on drums in Blue Murder were spectacular. Too bad they only lasted for that one album. What a monster THAT was.

2 studio albums actually were produced.  The second one was named Nothing But Trouble and it kicked butt too.  It has the greatest cover of Itchykoo Park ever.  I think it has been out of print for a long time.  Check eBay if you are interested.  It's worth looking around for it.

Blue Murder was a great band.  But their timing was poor.  Grunge killed rock guitar and the market was shot by the time the second record came out.  They deserved better.

Also it's fun to see Tony Franklin in Kenny Wayne Shepherd's band.  Time rolls on indeed.

Yes, true..but that album wasn't with Franklin and Appice. Still...an awesome album! Great cover of the Small Faces song...killer solo. I await the new stuff from John...

You are exactly correct.  Going back and re-reading the original post I now see the praise was specifically for the membership on the first album.  I agree!

Ignore that Ray guy, Joe. He's a jerk.
It's all good here!

Re: Latest Joe interview on the end of BCC

Jeeze! Here it is bugging the boss again while his "little blues project" is slaying them in Europe. Ship this sucker off to the basement, or at least over to the other artist place. Front and center is not the place! roll

Can't we discuss any future BCC in their own website if theire  is a forum? This horse is definitely flogged. Subject closed.

Re: Latest Joe interview on the end of BCC

Joe, you are funny when your dander is up.  Made me laugh.

And yeah, this thread is definitely done.

Re: Latest Joe interview on the end of BCC

Sad for this.
BCC was my favorite Bonamassa-proect, by far.
But serious - who thought it would last for three Cd´s and a Dvd?

Thanx

Re: Latest Joe interview on the end of BCC

Jeez!!!
Happens not very often that Joe is so pissed-off!
Freakin' 10 egos of Mr "diva" Hughes seems not that easy to deal with!
The voice of BCC was never my soup and I'm happy with the little blues project and projects with Beth and acoustic and ???
Don't expect that I like all new projects but keep them coming, Joe.

Re: Latest Joe interview on the end of BCC

As a big fan of JB and BCC, I must admit that I do not feel well by the departure of Joe's band, I'm really very sad. If the BCC continues (which I think will not happen) Joe will be sorely missed ... your style, feeling and tone are steeped in the sound of band and certainly is one of the attractions that have made it so big in so little time. Surely a long time a guitarist playing hard rock, classic rock or whatever you want, I could not do something that had such force as Joe did with the BCC.
But I confess that this story is getting boring and ridiculous, is already angering some people and wish we could do away with it altogether.
I was against it, but I must admit that in this situation the BCC would be nice to find another guitarist (for the love of the God! not a fryer without feeling, someone with the same influence of blues as Joe) and move on. I think it will be interesting and fun to make those comparisons ... for sure we will talk a lot, "Joe Bonamassa was much better" or "when Joe was in the band it was better" hehehehe. Surely I write this a few times hehehe
To the fans of the BCC campaign and a new mission: BCC MK2!! ... and please let's leave Joe alone!

Re: Latest Joe interview on the end of BCC

Well said Marcos! Now, lets hope there is something in the Jimmy Page rumor ^^,

Re: Latest Joe interview on the end of BCC

Joe,

I for one prefer you as a solo artist. I love BBC stuff, but much rather have your solo work and the style you have as a solo artist. Keep on rockin!

Re: Latest Joe interview on the end of BCC

Someone close the thread!

Re: Latest Joe interview on the end of BCC

Go look at the last interview of Glenn  posted on the Afterglow sticky. That should put an end to it. There is no controversy other than some lingering wishful thinking. Joe is done and we should be too.
