Topic: Munich 12th March 2013

Was a great show yesterday. as others already said in other threads, the new keyboarder is an asset for the band. Especially his great performance in "John Henry", what a wonderful sound :-)
Here is the setlist, thanks to Andreas:

Seagull
Jelly Roll
Richmond
Athens to Athens
woke up dreaming (short version)
--------------------
Slow train
Dust bowl
Dislocated boy
Driving toward the daylight
Who`s been talking
Great flood   !!! One of my faves :-)
Lonesome road blues
Young Man`s blues
Yonders Wall
Ballad of John Henry
---------------------
Asking around for you
Just got paid.

Somehow I missed "Midnight blues", cause that´s the one which always gives me shivers.
Was a great evening, looking forward to the next concert, whenever this will be.

Thanks for posting the setlist. Great Flood is one of my favorites as well!

Another vote for "The Great Flood". Such a haunting guitar solo. Seems Arlan is a big hit too. No surprise, he's a classy player. Thanks for posting the set list and your experience. Lessens the pain of not being there! lol   Cathy

Big Great Flood fan here too. It seems they are using this tour to practice on the old stuff for the gigs in London as they substitute a new old song each stop. smile
Thanks so much for the show report.

Music is good for the Soul...

Too bad he didn't play Midnight Blues, such a great piece. I would love to hear some older songs too like The River or Bridge To Better Days smile
