Re: The 80's
Ah, the 80's. High school and college years. There was some pretty good stuff in the beginning. The Wall was '79, but felt like 80. Remember listening to "Another Brick In The Wall, We Don't Need No Education" on the bus on the way to school. What a way to start the day. And of course "The Final Cut" in '83. Hanging out with the boys in town, listening to a boom box playing AC/DC Back in Black. Then there was Rush's "Moving Pictures" with "Tom Sawyer". And then in college, in the all girls dorm when I couldn't stand hearing the other girls play Police's "Synchronicity", Phil Collins, Madonna, or Cindy Lauper one more time, I'd retreat to my room and crank Scorpions "Rock You Like A Hurricane" or "The Zoo" from their "Animal Magnetism" album, or maybe some Van Halen, Asia and of course Zeppelin. The 80's definitely bring back some fond memories.
