I have been listening to some stuff on youtube and I am Blown Away!
I had never heard of him before. I read that he played with Billy Cox, Jimi Hendrix's bassist.

Yes. He's a shredder, but put out a couple of real nice blues albums.

I found "Roads less traveled" on amazon.. is that a blues album?
I'm hearing a bit of Jeff Beck, Jimi H, and Robin Trower in his playing... But it's really different
than anyone... plus he sings quite well and writes good songs.

I have The Road Less Traveled and Gutshot Straight (featuring songs from High Roller). Both are very good. I'm listening as I type to "Black Rose" which sounds like it came off Led Zeppelin III. "Fallin' In" is also a great slow burn to fret fireworks. Thanks for reminding me I have this stuff. I'll try to find a couple vids.

I went to his channel and found something new.
Jeff Beck-ish.. really nice! might even give Beck a run for his money.
I have never heard "Black Rose" but I found another Zep-ish song on his channel that appears to be new.

Great to have you here as a new member. I'm including samples of the Gutshot album and I think they give you the first minute and a half of the songs. Click on "Black Rose" and tell me what you think. The song is a bit haunting, but beautifully crafted. There's no debating Eric's playing ability and the vocals are equally impressive. Damn good stuff here.

Yeah, he is amazing. I saw him at a Christmas fundraiser show in Austin with a few other bands and he blew the roof off the place. I live in Austin and heard he moved here recently. I'm hoping to see him playing more local gigs. Thing is, he can shred but I can't call him a shredder because his stuff is so diverse and artistic. One minute I feel like I'm listening to Hendrix, then Beck, then Zepplin, and have finally decided who he sounds like...Marc Eric. Really unique style with cool vocals too.

I found this today on a YouTube channel. I don't know if it's new but MAN!! very cool bluesy vibe! Beautiful song!

I've always been a fan of Joe Bonamassa, so this guy's a great addition to my play list.
Anybody know if he's got anything new coming out soon?

Heard him play live in Nashville at several shows...It convinced me that he was an incredible guitarist...found several of his CDs on Amazon and plenty of tunes on You Tube...rock / blues / 70s style psychedelic riffs...great stuff... have been looking to see if he has a tour set up in 2013...would be worth hearing live again.
