Chantel also does an amazing "stripped-down" Metallica cover, so go figure.
King King are just an experience not to be missed; seen them do a couple of festivals, and you just have to feel sorry for any band who have to follow them on stage. All the more incredible is the fact they don't have a "fixed" drummer or keyboard players though Johnny Dyke seems to be the most frequent choice for the keys; Dale Storr and Bennett Holland contributed on the debut album. Drummers - Wayne Proctor and Dave Raeburn are names who have sat in, amongst others. Apart from Alan Nimmo, the only constant is Lindsay Coulson on bass (he's also manager). Speaking of albums, King King will be touring their new release in the spring.
The Beaverwood is way out of my area, but I know it's reputation for good bands, so keep an eye on Wooder's London Gig Guide for what's coming up. I'd recommend Billy Walton Band as one of the others due in the near future.

When life gives you lemons; don't make lemonade.
Give back the lemons. Why were the lemons free? What's wrong with the lemons?
Do Not trust the lemons...
