That is bad news, about Bernard Allison.  I've been a fan for quite a while (starting with his dad).  Hope they got on that right away, and he has a speedy recovery.

My next concert will be Buddy Guy @ Legends, Jan. 18th.  I've not been able to make one of his January residency shows in a while.  So really looking forward to this one.  And Scott Holt will be there that night, as well.

Play like you've worked at it, and don't worry about sounding like your influences.  You can't cheat on them, or your practice, anyway.  If you've worked hard at your skill, your audience will know it.

The gig is tomorrow 13 Januari.
The only two i know now is the bassplayer Erkan Özdemir en on guitar Sander Kooiman.

Wished I could have been in Mol too to see Big Pete. Have seen him about two years ago with Ian Siegal and that was pure fun. Looking forward to see Big Pete again at the Bluesmoosefest in Groesbeek.

Saw Erkan recently opening with his two kids "The Özdemirs" for Eddie C. Campbell and they were all invited by Eddie C. Campbell on stage. Really enjoyed that.
