Topic: Asia - Steve Howe Steps Down

Announced today Steve Howe is steeping down to concentrate on his solo career. Good news is that young Sam Coulson will be taking the reigns. Sam lives around the corner from us and often comes down round for jam. He his one hell of a player and all round nice guy. I cannot get over the fact he looks about 14 years old!! Thx for the info & link....I Got to see Asia few years ago and got Steve's Autograph.... .....Asia will not be the same anymore w/out him

Congratulations to Sam! I heard the news on Planet Rock on Friday and I thought, 'That name rings a bell'. I heard about Sam here on the forum ages ago. Always knew he would be successful, he's a great player.

I liked Sam even before I started the video just because he chose to do a Joe song.  But then...wow, this is blistering!

Awesome guitar player, I remember him playing some JB years back, and no one posted who it was, but he had JB note for note.....the video was shot where you could not see his face, just his hair hanging in front of his face, similiar to the cover of "You and Me", I swear it looked like Joe
