Topic: RYAN MCGARVEY - FIRST UK TOUR MAY 2013

Hi everyone

I'm absolutely delighted to have the honour of organising Ryan's first ever UK tour!  He's really looking forward to coming over and meeting everyone  - and we're looking forward to meeting him smile

So - Here's the dates so far - some still need confirming, but I'll put them in anyway:

3 May - Flowerpot Derby (tbc)
4 May - Thornhill Music Festival Dumfries
5 May - All Saints Rooms, Cockermouth
6 May - Bannermans, Edinburgh
10 May - Keighly Blues Club (tbc)
11 May - Camerons, Hartlepool
12 May - True Blues, Newton le Willows, Liverpool
13 May - Haven Club, Oxford

More dates to follow - so watch this space folks.  Lets give a warm welcome to this highly talented young man.  In the meantime, here's a little taster for you - a track from his latest album Redefined! Love it!

Thanks for that, dates in another thread but fine to have them altogether.

A few of us will be at the Edinburgh gig.

Re: RYAN MCGARVEY - FIRST UK TOUR MAY 2013

Hartlepool for def. Maybe more, see what else comes. Don't forget, Ryan also does a "killer" acoustic show if needed.

Oxford looks favourite - very much looking forward to seeing Ryan

Re: RYAN MCGARVEY - FIRST UK TOUR MAY 2013

Linda, thanks for the advance notice and congrats on the honour of organising Ryan's first UK tour. If a London date is to be added (I sincerely hope so) is there any chance you could make it after 13th May pleeeeease? I'm away on hols until this date but would love to see Ryan on my return. big_smile

Thanks

It's a YIEEEEHAAAAA bargain. You'll have some money left for CDs. Another YIEEEEEEHAAAA.
By the way, my first tickets for the 2013 tour arrived yesterday: No 1 and No 2 for Schwarzer Adler.

Re: RYAN MCGARVEY - FIRST UK TOUR MAY 2013

Hello Blues Sissi ,
I'm going to Ryan at Ubach Palenberg,Gompelhof Mol, Highlands Amersfoort
Walter from Belgium

Re: RYAN MCGARVEY - FIRST UK TOUR MAY 2013

Me too, Walter. We see us and we will have a GREAT time.
And let's hope that there are more dates in Belgium and The Netherlands to come: Verviers and Roermond and and and ....

Have you seen on Facebook that Ryan was informed today that he has been named from Guitar Player Magazine's Annual Readers Choice Award for BEST NEW TALENT!!
That's so darned well deserved. So happy for him!

Re: RYAN MCGARVEY - FIRST UK TOUR MAY 2013

Linda - is Ryan looking to play on 7th, 8th & 9th as well? That's some run of consecutive dates. If yes, I might not go home after Edinburgh.

Re: RYAN MCGARVEY - FIRST UK TOUR MAY 2013

Just bought Ryan's albums over Xmas  - see his tour elsewhere and thought Derby or Keighley but bit of travel

and now I see Newton-le-Willows  -  about 3 miles away   -  awesome

That'll take some doing, after seeing VATA so many times; but I bet Ryan will give it a damn good try. Bring it on!!!

Re: RYAN MCGARVEY - FIRST UK TOUR MAY 2013

I do so hope a London date will be added, however please not the 17th May as I'm already seeing Eric Clapton and would hate to miss out if possible. Thanks

It's costly, shouldn't presume we all have unlimited funds! i spend enough on gigs locally wink and double if i take my girlfriend! Besides sooner or later virtually everyone ends up in London.
