Topic: Black Crowes 2013 tour dates up

After about a 3 year hiatus, with Jackie Green on guitar this tour. I remember seeing him in Trigger Hippy at the Wanee Festival last year. I didn't know who he was, but I remember thinking that he was an extremely talented dude. I watched him through the whole set.

Should be interesting to see him with the Robinson brothers.

Looking forward to see what Jackie brings to the table...although Marc Ford is my favourite...every guitarist including Freed and Dickinson have brought something new and fresh to the sound. Will be interesting sets...

Sorry, missed your thread....
I've seen shows with Paul Stacey (after Ford left), and Dickenson. I love Ford's playing and would have loved to see him live, but Stacey did a great job filling in.
I really liked Luther with them, he seemed to really add his own vibe to the sound.
Like you said, it should be interesting.

I also thought Luther was the best they have had, wish i'd got to see them with him, but Jackie Greene shall be interesting. There are some great recordings of him playing with Gov't Mule.

I got my ticket for the HMV Forum show on the 29th, shame i can't attend the second show also, guess i'll just have to settle for Joe Bonmassa at the Albert Hall instead wink
