My two cents - I nominate Peter Frampton as my most underrated guitarist, but this thread is for the band where he gained fame and was able to play with (imho, sorry again Fraser) one of the greatest performers of my generation. Steve Marriott.
I stumbled upon this video this morning and thought some of you would appreciate its historic significance. They were all so young here and Pete was definitely more than a pretty boy guitarist.

A post collaboration "The Bigger They Come" and Pete talking about getting back with Steve. Pretty good stuff.
There are a number of videos of Steve and David Hemmings acting together in 1965. I found this that I don't know what's going on, but it has some early Small Faces and a young and pretty Kiki Dee singing a song.
