Topic: Joe Fans Spreading to the Middle East !!!

Hello everyone. hope you're all doing great. i'm Reem and i'm new to this forum. i joined because Joe Bonamassa is my all time favourite guitarist and i only recently got introduced to his music, so i'd really like sharing my thoughts with other fans like me. and this seems to be the perfect place.
i live in Jordan (which means that Joe fans are spreading fast and everywhere!), and here in this country not many people listen or even know that kind of music! that's one of the reasons i joined. i hope i make friends here...

yeah i know! i mean little people in Jordan listen to this kind of music. and there's definitely no concerts here! except for small cover bands. it was my Dad that found out about him! you see, my mother is Bulgarian and my Dad went to study there, and Dad got into all sorts of Music when he was in Bulgaria, like Rock, Blues, Classic Rock,... and so on. and he is still influenced and searching the internet everyday for these things. that's where he found out about Joe! so thank you Dad! hehe...

Welcome to the forum Reem! Glad you found Joe...your dad has great taste in music, lol.
Years back, there used to be a link to some kind of "map" site, where you could input your location and a pin or flag would show up on the map for each Joe fan. It was surprising the spread of fans...I'm sure it would be much larger today!

You may be the first member from Jordan!Can't say for sure.Anyway,glad to have you here.Thanks to your Dad too!If you check out the other artist section you and your dad can get in step with a lot of similiar music shared by all.I've found a lot of great bands by being here.What do most of the people listen to? How old are you?If your younger(teens or 20s) are there other people into blues rock?

well, i think i'm the only from Jordan here, but i sure do hope another will come up! i really do! i'm 22 years old, and i don't have much friends, and most of the people here listen to Arabic music and it's not my thing. but i got to know a few that listen to rock (mostly new bands) and there's a few that know some like Pink Floyd and Led zeppelin! and i do know there's a few metal-heads so i guess people are getting more open here! but as for blues it's more rare. i once told a friend about it and she thought i meant the boy-band "Blue". that was the last time i opened the subject of music with her! hehe.. but people are getting open here, and there's a few cover bands that play jazz and rock and they're very good.
