I'm ready Rocket!!! Christmas came early in the form of a 60" Sharp Aquos (our first HD TV) so I can't wait to watch the game. We're a far different team than the one that lost to SF 13-6 back in October...and this time we're at home. Go Hawks!
I get a warm-up game today as UW faces Boise State in Vegas. Go Dawgs!
(I took the liberty of correcting your pick LOLOL)

You were correct on correcting me, Stu!!! Nice. Great game. DOMINATING. The way to do it. Congratulations. Several species of playoff contenders better hope to avoid that home field. Rough rowdiest readiest in the NFL.
Shed-there we go, huh?! Shoulda been Smith, egg on Harbaugh's face. A few posts back I said I thought Kaepernick wasn't ready for the real crunch...proven now.

Thanks Dion. The team that 'nobody wants to face in the playoffs' just got in, and it's a beautiful thing :-)
We seem to be peaking at the right time as well. 6-1 over the last 7 games, with a combined score of 255-95.
There look to be at least six absolute locks this week, as well as a few games that should almost be locks too, so most of us (except Rocket, natch) are probably only going to differ on a few games.
One of the locks will almost certainly bust - but which one? The Texans, who would have thought?
ATL @ DET - Falcons to roll on, almost, kind of, another semi-lock Check
NO @ DAL - I don't (want to) believe in the Cowgirl resurrection Check
TEN @ GB - Lock # 1 Check
IND @ KC - Lock # 2 Check
BUF @ MIA - Pretty close to another lock, a semi-lock Yeah, ok
SD @ NYJ - A who cares game between two awful teams. I have come to hate them both. Jets on a toss up. Thanks again, Bolts.
WSH @ PHI - According to all the experts, this is another strong semi-lock. I expect the Redskin messiah to return and do the business. Ugly, but check!
CIN @ PIT - Ben's lost 'it' since he came back, I'll punt on the Bengals Double check
STL @ TB - Really hard to pick, nothing to play for, Rams by a whisker Not as close as I thought
OAK @ CAR - Lock # 3 Check
NE @ JAC - Lock # 4 Check, but not till late
MIN @ HOU - Lock # 5 (despite more ridiculous All Day yardage) Nobody saw this coming
CLE @ DEN - Lock # 6 Check
CHI @ ARI - Normally, this should be a lock too, but with these Bears? Check
NYG @ BAL - Another real hard one. The Ravens need this badly, so do the Giants. I badly want and need the sad Ravens of recent weeks to turn the corner and recapture the flame. Let Ray Rice run! Ravens murdered the Giants in the first half, Flacco on fire!
SF @ SEA - I'm staying with the Hawk's and Wilson's very impressive home form. Could easily go the other way too. Not even close, Hawks on a major roll.
I'm more than happy with my 14-2 this week, but those damn Bolts really p!ss me off.
Foles played the entire second half with a broken hand. Vick to start against the Giants.
The game the whole country clearly wants to see, Skins vs. Boys has been moved from 1 pm to evening prime time so that the whole country can watch. Sadly, this means an all-niter for me. Assuming the Skins beat the Boys in a sold out and incredibly noisy Fedex Field, their 'reward' is a home game vs the Hawks, whom obviously no one wants to play now - unless, the Hawks win the division, in which case the Skins would face the Niners.
Go Hawks!

I doubt that a change in QB's would have made a difference. The Seahawks looked undeniable.

I agree, Bill. Not on the outcome. But definitely on poise, the score, and the embarassment factor. 13 points total totally embarrassing for this SF squad. Kaepernick couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Seahawks had tremendous everything. Most impressive of the Seahawks are their offensive linemen.

Go Hawks!
The only way SEA wins the division is for SF to lose to AZ. About as much of a chance of that happening as the Rams beating SEA.
Merry Xmas!

Santa brought me the exact same TV. Heck of a deal at Costco.

Nice! Sure makes a difference with HDMI cable. Just had coax cable from box to tv when I first got it and was disappointed with picture - but then I read the directions and viola! HD TV! :-)
Good Luck against Clemson by the way...should be fun to watch on that new TV

If you're smart you'll exchange it tomorrow for a Samsung, best TV's out there these days. When you're in Best Buy, WalMart, or Costco and you see all the TV's side by side the Samsungs just stand out in the crowd.
Merry Xmas!

Gold ended cables squeeze just a bit more outta the picture too. A friend of mine watched his for almost a year before his brother in law clued him in on the HDMI connection. Don't waste your money on Monster brand cables, any gold end cables will work just fine.
Happy Viewing!

I'll kick off week 17 with lots of locks. Damn, this season went by fast.....
TB @ ATL - A semi lock for the Falcons
NYJ @ BUF - Lock # 1
BAL @ CIN - If last week's Ravens turn up, they can win this - but will they?
CHI @ DET - Again, which Bears will turn up? The real ones, I hope.
JAC @ TEN - Titans should be too good at home
HOU @ IND - Pagano's early return to inspire Colts to revenge win
CAR @ NO - Lock # 2, though it could be close if Cam catches fire
PHI @ NYG - If the Giants play like the last two weeks they could even lose this one, but I don't believe it
CLE @ PIT - Lock # 3 Ben has got much to prove
KC @ DEN - Lock # 4
GB @ MIN - Not quite a lock, but the Pack should be too strong
MIA @ NE - Lock # 5
OAK @ SD - Honestly, I don't want to pick either of these two :fp
ARI @ SF - Lock # 6
STL @ SEA - Lock # 7
DAL @ WSH - Of course, this is the game everyone is really waiting for! I expect a high scoring, offense dominated game. Can the Skin's secondary cope with Dez? Can the Boy's line cope with Morris? Will RG3 play without that brace? If he does, I expect the usual offensive mixed bag of fireworks and I obviously hope and expect that the Skins win this one, even if by a last second FG. We're all so looking forward to getting crushed by the Hawks in the next game.
Lock # 2 looks like the most likely candidate for an upset, so it'll almost certainly be one of the others. There are bound to be more than three road wins too.....stop, don't think too deeply, just go with the flow that led to 14-2 last week.
I'll kick off week 17 with lots of locks. Damn, this season went by fast.....
OAK @ SD - Honestly, I don't want to pick either of these two :fp
LOL, neither do we
Hoping to see Pryor. They really should put him in this one.

Caught an interview with him and the Raiders play by play man Grep Papa on Comcast yesterday and the conversation sounded as if he would be playing if not starting this week. Why the hell not, those lackluster Heisman Trojans can't get it done, move over you 2 rovers and let a Buckeye take over. Good luck Tyrelle!!!
Go Buckeye!!!
