I can't stop listening to "Last Night", man what a friggin' great song.  Awesome playing both acoustic and electric.  "Empty Promises" is covered extremely well and is getting replayed a lot.

Went to see him in Philadelphia last night. It's been six years since I was amazed by this young player at the Ft. Lauderdale Festival and he's used those years well. He is so much fun to watch. Lots of energy, rapid guitar riffs and a matured voice. I bought the new CD and listened on the way home. Eric thinks it's his best to date and I have to agree. Now he's off to Europe to revisit his many friends. He's used his earned mileage for an upgrade to first class, so we know he'll land in Amsterdam well rested. Let's hope his guitars survive the trip intact!!   Cathy

It was my first turn to see Eric four days after Cathy's show in Philly, small world, etc.

Eric did not disappoint. Got to talk with him (not long enough) and am sad that I can't catch any of his other few shows this time, but he'll be back early next year. Eric is a real nice lad, and a stage animal. Like one of his (and my) idols, the late Michael Burks, Eric could play all night if given the chance.

Thanks for sharing this George, it's my favorite! All 20 copies that I ordered from Eric are now gone including the 10 that were signed. Guess I have to order a few more. Today, my whole family is enjoying this album because you see, I gave them each a signed copy yesterday for Thanksgiving! Music...it's wonderful to share! wink

Just got my copy of Dismantle The Sun over the week-end, thanks to those kindly lunatics at CD baby. (If you haven't used them before, you should, just to read their despatch emails.) Gonna have to make a couple of copies as it's no sooner out the car stereo than its in the home system.

He's taken the best elements of his previous 2 albums and ran with them. More than earned his dues to sit at the big table. Now I REALLY am looking forward to his visit to Sedgefield next month.
