I don't know who's the best, but I think Russell Wilson deserves to be in the conversation for rookie of the year. In his last 4 games he's 74 for 105 (a 70% completion rate) with 821 yards, 9 TD's and 1 interception. Not bad for a 3rd round pick!

Hard to compare, their styles are like night & day, but the bottom line is they both find ways to win.
Think Green,

Yes, we have an astonishing bunch of rookie QBs to admire, but to respond to Scott's question, uh, let me see now, do I need to toss a coin? I don't think so!
I've not seen much of Luck, though what little I have seen has been very impressive, whereas I've seen a lot of RG3, so no surprise that I think RG3 is the more complete player, someone I truly believe will be the Leo Messi of the NFL for many years to come. The word 'superstar' is much abused and misused, but if RG3 isn't already one, then I don't know who is.
The boy has absolutely everything you could wish for in a QB, and then some - a fantastic arm, ridiculous speed on the ground, agility, intelligence, no fear (he better learn some quick before he really gets hurt!) and the kind of game-reading and game-running smarts that only Peyton has. And, he's still only a rookie! He's worth everything the Skins gave up for him, and more. He will dominate the NFC East for many years to come because no defense can adequately cope with the many options at his disposal.
On top of all that, he has restored hope and confidence to a great franchise that has been on its knees for longer than I can remember. He has become an instant 'god' to long-suffering Skins fans, and deservedly so.
I vote RG3!
(Last night was one of his least impressive performances of the season, but it was still good enough!)

He'd have my vote Stu! When he came to the Badgers they said he was a lock for a starting Quarterback role in the NFL if he didn't play Major League Baseball. He's physically very gifted and sees the field as good as anyone today.

After further review of play on the field there are SIX defenses that have coped with 3Bob already this season. The Pigskins are sitting @ 6-6 with 4 to go.
Go Dawgs!!!

The nod will likely go to RGIII but I'm really pleased with Wilson. He's got 186 fewer pass attempts than Luck but still has 2 more passing TDs than Luck. Ok, so scratch that Green Bay Hail-Mary and say he's got one more :-) Has 2 more than RGIII as well, on fewer attempts. But looking at the stats here, I'd rate them #1 RGIII, #2 Wilson #3 Luck for rookie of the year. http://espn.go.com/nfl/statistics/playe … ackRating. RGIII also leads the league in QB rushing, with a 200 yard lead over #2 Cam Newton http://pickingpros.com/nfl/quarterback- … eaders.php
RG3. Maybe on stats alone Luck could be viewed as a better QB, I'm not sure of the numbers as far as completed passes etc, which people often don't look past... but I much prefer RG.

You're certainly entitled to be. In any other year, he'd be making bigger waves and attracting more attention, but RG3 (I refuse to call him 3Bob) and Luck are both totally exceptional rookie QBs. It's a shame in a way that they're both starting their careers in the same year.
Over on a big sports forum where I spend some time, they've got an 'Offensive rookie of the year' poll going. Latest voting is -
RG3 - 52
Luck - 28
Other - 12
I haven't seen enough of either to say for sure. I guess if I was starting a team and had my choice, it'd be RG3. I also think Russell Wilson belongs in the discussion.
The Colts were 2-14 last year without Peyton. After cleaning house, the Colts are what? 8 - 4 and in playoff contention with someone posting the same stats as his HoF predecessor. RGIII is the real deal too and is turning around the hapless Redskins, but his running will be his undoing. In the long run I expect Luck will put up Elway numbers and hopefully win a championship.
Today is a perfect example why Luck will be the better long term investment. RGIII is an electrifying player, but the life expectancy of a running QB is limited. Back in the 60's and 70's Fran Tarkenton and Roger Staubach could do it, but defensive linemen then weren't nearly as speedy as their modern counterparts.
Hard to believe that the report on 3Bob this morning is no ligament damage after that gnarly shot to his leg yesterday. What really shocked me was that the powers that be on the Skins sideline let him back in the game. He may have dodged a bullitt this time, but if you live by the scramble you might die by the scramble too.
Go Dawgs!!!

While we're at it, who do y'all like for MVP? It looks to be between Peyton, Brady and All Day.
I'd like to see AD get it, he's been unreal after his return from injury.
