The beautiful Peace Center had 2,200 Joe fans wonderfully delighted with another stellar show. Sound was very good, not quiet as good as Durham, some of the vocals would get lost just a tad at times, but not super noticeable.
Joe, Carmine, Rick and Tal were tight as usual and the chemistry was sheer energy. The Set List was almost the same as Durham but without Blues Deluxe but So Many Roads was in the mix tonight. Maybe about 5 minutes shorter overall. Joe played a Gold Top Gibson on Sloe Gin and JGP that had not been used on stage since 1995. Really great sounding vintage guitar for sure. Got some decent pictures that I will post later. Great to catch up with Carmine to see how the tour is going and really anticipating the London shows next March. Super to see Kathy and Randy from Athens. She almost caught Joe's glasses but just missed, by that much! Rich, from Charlotte, was taking his brilliant pictures too. Got to meet Joe's new tour manager, seems like a nice dude.
Until the next show! Jacksonville i.e.
p.s. Joe: hope you enjoyed Subway, eating fresh...
