Topic: When it rains it pours

Bob, Tarus52, lost his Mom last night after a long battle with Alzheimer's. As you all know, he recently lost his Father. He's coping well. Now I hope he will be able to turn all his attention to his own health. He hopes to get a new computer soon and will be back on the forum.     Cathy

Re: When it rains it pours

I'm sorry for Bob losing his Mother, but not for her, cause for her the pain and suffering is now over.  God has filled his plate to the brim for sure, but now's the time to focus on his health.  Remember both your parents when they were young and fleetingly eternal.  That's how they'll be at the next stop.
I went to a funeral recently and the through the September heat I heard the Pastor reciting the words to this song and thought it fitting to include.  May God bless you Bob.

Re: When it rains it pours

Cathy - if you talk to or see Bob please give him my love and hugs.  Some people can never seem to catch a break.  I hope he will be able to take care of his own needs  now, too.  Bob is a very special person.

"There's a lot of people that are in so much of a hurry to be, I guess, to be famous or that they don't want to take the time to learn to play and do all that. They'd rather just knock it down off a computer and maybe get on a game show and get famous..That's fine if that's what you want to do.

Re: When it rains it pours

Bob is a wonderful person which I'm sure both of his parents must have been. We have shared lots of interest in Albert Cummings and traded stories when we were at Bill S.'s pre-Crossroad party. I am sending out prayers to my friend and hope he is doing well. Until you lose both of your parents, you don't know how to cope with loss, especially if their life was cut short.

Bob is indeed a great guy. Losing both parents so close together must be really tough...Bob will be in my prayers.

Re: When it rains it pours

We met only briefly, before and after the Warner Theatre show, and I just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear of your loss. That is a lot to bear in a short amount of time. Hope all goes well with you surgery and that you get to feeling better soon.
