This is a video of my handwound humbuckers that I wound myself.
The iPhone didn't pick up the sound that great but I liked the pickups so much I had to make a vid.

This guitar was a 91 Studio Lite that I restored and gave to my friend for his wedding smile
I'm calling the pickups I wind: Great Lakes Guitar Pickups since I'm usually winding in Wisconsin or Michigan.

Thanks! I can hear where the iPhone flubbed out a bit. Wish I would have done it with a SM57 and iMovie, but oh well.

I'm not in this to make a profit really. It's a hobby right now. I've been doing this for a couple years, but I want to acquaintances/friends/family pickups at first. Maybe word can spread from there. Plus I don't have the credentials to sell them for crazy prices!

So.... they cost: parts + shipping
That cost is for Bonamassa friends, my pals, and family. cool
I think two humbuckers of mine cost less than one Gibson burstbucker when all is said and done.

Nic, you are on the way to starting a good business.  Though it may not be your goal, why not?  The tone is up to pair with PAF's at large.  I like how the bridge position has a nice "honk" to it, thanks largely I would assume to the Alnico II's.  Anyhow, great sound on those guys.  I have always been intrigued by Rivera amps.  That thing must be a beast of loud!!  That attenuator is a must, I would assume for most applications.  I digress, great job!

Really cool Nic!

They seemed to have a lot of bite to them. I personally think there is a difference in a pickup thats just high output and one thats pretty hot with a good amount of bite. Those seem to yield more note clarity than ones that are just plain loud. Did make that Studio sound good. I like it. -S
