Re: Springfield show

Considering how sick Joe was he did a remarkable job.  I liked the acoustic stuff, but honestly would rather see it mixed in more with the regular show.  I missed the theremin, too (it has always fascinated me) but Joe doing more slide in John Henry made up for it. Great show, went by much too fast as usual - it's a long time until March.

Thanks to Rich for swapping his single seat with one of my single seats so I could sit next to my friend (weird the single next to mine was someone I knew).  So nice to see Spider, Jay and friend Josh, met a few new friends and a few other old familiar faces. Jay - thanks for our "scarfed" dinner.  Wish there was more time to visit.

This picture of Guytron's friend watching "Just Got Paid" sums it all up:

Truly a great capture of a great Bonamoment. One with which we all can relate. Another thing to be thankful for today.

Complete accoustic set of the nights show. First vid is HPTintro/Seagull(starts a little shaky but quickly gets better) Seconed is Dislocated Boy. Third is DTTD wich goes right into WUD. Decent vids overall with a little reverb. Shots are nice and close though taken from the front row. Will be posting more including Joes funny story of Springfield and whatever I can save from the electric set. Happy Thanksgiving everyone I hope you enjoy the vids!

Re: Springfield show

Brought a friend to this show, his first time - we were both blown away. Joe is incredible. My first time was May 2012 in Hartford CT, I walked out of there in shock with what I had just experienced.

And she's wild as eagles, she's sweet as honeysuckle....

Re: Springfield show

WAs a GREAT show and fun event, wish the days were longer though or the show was longer....when he starts with India......happy and disappointed at same time, as means only couple songs to go before end of show......

That was almost my first show but I already had tickets to bring my son, nephew and wife to a show at The Comcast Theater that same night. On top of that Chickenfoot was at Mohegan Sun the same night. It was one hell of a day for entertainment in CT.

Re: Springfield show

I have to admit, I was a little curious/nervous when I got into the hall and did not see the theremin on stage. But during BJH, Joe used the slide instead, and he was great. I'm glad he mixed it up, it is good for me to be open to new things, and Joe has never disappointed! I need to just watch and trust the master!!! What did anyone else think of the slide?

I thought the slide was great. I love the theremin but it always seems like a prop for the show. Welcome to the forum!

Wish the sneakers were the purple ones, though.  I'm still waiting to see those!

Thanks all - glad you enjoyed.  It was a great show.

OMG Sandy, these are great! You obviously do good work, have a good camera, and most importantly the awesome-est subject matter to photograph! Thanks for sharing with us! It was an awesome show, my second.
