Topic: Durham 11/28/12

Looking forward to the show tonight at the DPAC (Durham Performing Arts Center).  This is such a nice venue, great sounding acoustically.  Hope to see a lot of familiar faces and newbies.  There are still a few seats left in the balcony.

Dear Patty,

Wish you were here too! But London next March will be here before we know it!  Yeah...  I didn't get a camera pass and my little point and click is not working properly.  boo hiss...  But have a ton of pictures from prior shows there at the DPAC. Talk to you soon.

If I could teleport, I'd take one of those balcony seats tongue  Enjoy the show!

Re: Durham 11/28/12

Another amazing show by Joe, Carmine, Rick and Tal.  One of the best mixed shows for sound yet.  You could hear everything perfectly.  There were 2,400 in attendance, not quiet a sell out, the third balcony had some empty seats. It was pretty cool to look around and see only one dear lady in the third balcony standing during "Just Got Paid", she was having a great time! The rest of the floor was standing of course.  Setlist pretty much the same as past shows but maybe Roy (Vortex) can elaborate. Great seeing some longtime NC fans and met quiet a number of first timers.  There was a lot of energy during the show, pedal to the metal, the 2:10 went by before we knew it. Getting for the next show in Greenville.

There were some who expressed concern about the ticket prices, but after seeing the show I think we owe Joe some more.  He just puts everything into his singing and guitar playing.  Well worth every cent!

Thank you Joe!!!  You Rock...

Great Review, I agree, Joe gives his heart and soul.

Re: Durham 11/28/12

As David said in his review this was another great show. It had been over a year since i last saw Joe so i was really excited about seeing him again. I have added a video on YouTube that i recorded last night.

"Driving Towards The Daylight"

The sound was excellent in this venue.
