Cheeky ****!!
Devon Allman...Moondogs.......Sunday Dec 2nd
Henrik Freischlader Band in Metropool Hengelo Holland tonight. Level 42 plays in the other hall there but I prefer Henrik!
Plan was Henrik Freischlader @ Muddy Waters in Geldern today. But it's sold out.
Looks like an evening at home with some cooking and a red one.
So Cool! Opeth for 2 nights!
I'll take them for 1 night, have a blast!
Had an absolute blast, down the front for both nights!
I know a lot of JB fans wouldn't like them, but for me they're now favourite live act and Akerfeldt is an underrated guitarist.

That is so cool when a band leaves you feeling like that. And to score down front, both nights
What was the setlist like? Really interested to know what they played this time and what was your favorite part of the concert?
Here is a clip of Mikael. I really like this, because it is fan's questions and I like how honest he is and complete with his answers. I really liked the question of how they decide what genres to put in?

The setlist was:
The Devil's Orchard
Ghost of Perdition
White Cluster
Hope Leaves
Burden
Deliverance
Hessian Peel
Famine
Harlequin Forest
----------------------
Blackwater Park
Favourite part? All of it Almost 50 and I've turned into a Death Metal fanboi! Just a great mix of Death Metal/Power Ballads/Pop Rock/Progressive. Akerfeldt was in good voice on the clean stuff and his between song banter was good too.
Here's a clip of Hessian Peel I took.

I like they started out with the Devil's Orchard. That is what I really like about them, it is a great mix of what you listed above.
Nice clip, you are true metal when a Mosh Pit interrupts the taping of a song. You won't have to worry about that happening at a Joe B. concert, lol.
Another trip to Glasgow on Wednesday to see a favourite band of mine - Magnum. A very underrated band and this will be my 23rd time since first seeing them in 1986.
Then its Europe the next night.
Josh Smith - tomorrow at the Lindenbrauerei in Unna.
His latest album got a number of positive reviews in Germany so I'll make a little trip to get a copy ...
Tab Benoit, at the Chicago City Winery, December 9th. (Which is a venue that I heartily recommend, having seen Joan Osborne for all four shows she did there--two sets of back to back nights, last September and October).

Yes, Walter. I really enjoyed the gigs!!!
And I was happy to stay at home on Sunday . . . recharging my batteries . . .
because I wanted to do another five-in-a-row-gig-marathon last week, unfortunately I couldn't make it.
Only three gigs last week:
Wednesday: Ian Siegal & The Mississippi Mudbloods - only gig in Germany at the Blues Garage - another highlight for this year!!!!!!!
Saturday: Footsteps and Eric Sardinas
Sunday: Eric Bibb & Habib Koite
