Topic: Marshall Jubele

I am looking to get a Jub and was wondering if it is clear what settings Joe uses and was it on the clean or solo channel?
Thanks!

Re: Marshall Jubele

I believe Joe once posted smile

Re: Marshall Jubele

Thanks,  I will be trying to blend it with something in my Fractal Axe II to bring out the mids(like he uses the two rock), suggestions?
There is not a 2 rock in there, but there are some Carol anns' and some dumble like amps.   May not need to blend it at all?

Re: Marshall Jubele

Carol Ann OD3 (or 2, whichever is modeled)

Try preset #54 on the AXe-FXII

Thanks Ron, unfortunately I have long wiped out the factory pre sets.  It sounds like the ODS100 would be the amp to blend it with. Can you give me a heads up on the settings, or what was in #54?

Re: Marshall Jubele

Try the Carol-Ann OD2 model on the Axe-II.  It's one of my favourites.  Also perhaps the TrainWreck model.  Bring out the mids a bit more on those.

More importantly, use the EV12L cab IR's... 4x12.  You may get better results with the OwnHammer/RedWirez ones - they send to sound a bit more 'open' and 'airy' than the built in ones.

Also, Joe runs a wet/dry rig, so try delay reverb on only one of the amps.  Another tone sauce secret is that Joe usually has a trem running before the amp on one of the chains.

Re: Marshall Jubele

Thanks Devon!  So is the idea to get low highs and saturation from the Jub then set up the ODS with more mids to fill it out? I like the wet dry idea!  Really appreciate it!

Just go to their website and redownload the factory presets. If you can't for some reason let me know I will take a look.
Cheers Ron
