Going to catch the German Giant here in Sactown on Nov2nd....it's been 37...38 years since I first heard UFO on the radio, and never caught a gig....oh by the way, UFO comes here right after without Michael....for 25 bones and a little dive place to catch the show will be all worth the wait, and 10 minutes from the crib smile

Don't forget - Virgil & the Accelerators will be opening for Schenker - another coup for the lads.

When life gives you lemons; don't make lemonade.
Give back the lemons.  Why were the lemons free?  What's wrong with the lemons?
Do Not trust the lemons...

They played Let it Roll? DAMN - they were in Milwaukee last weekend but I was out of town and missed it and couldn't swing Chicago on a week night. Glad to hear MS was on his game. Thanks for the report!

LIVE MUSIC IS BEST

Re: Michael Schenker

Hummmmm.....in Santa Rosa on Tuesday night. It's my 4:45am wake up call that always turns me off to weekday shows, but I've done it 100's of times before. Game time decision.

Re: Michael Schenker

Wel, you probably know that Schenker was the support act on the UK Black Country Communion tour last year, so got to see Michael and Joe on the same night.

It was good to see Schenker back on some kind of form after many years of being a laughing stock in the rock world due to his alcohol and 'marital' problems.

The most melodic rock player out there and at his peak, up there with the best.  MSG Live in Budokan is a WOW album !!

As for UFO - They are still a great band.  Vinnie Moore is exceptional.  He almost has to hold himself back to play the Schenker parts, he's that good.

Wrong Shreddy!....they closed the show with "Rock Bottom" then "Doctor Doctor", and a mind blowing 30 minute Schenker on RB....they did play "Let It Roll", as well as "Love To Love You" (awesome) .....went to work on 3 hours sleep and pulled a 12 hour day yikes

A show here at Brick by Brick Sunday just 10 minutes from home.  I might sneak off and go, there's the annual girls day for a tea and shopping planned. I don't think I'll be missed.  lol

Re: Michael Schenker

Caught UFO without Schenker last night, no comparison, MSG was much better in my opinion.....heck of alot of fun though....on a downside, never seen so many 50yo derelicts in my life, one guy dropped in front of me and my wife, he fell like that statue of Saddam Hussein, slow motion, then bounced his mug off the floor.....KO!!!!.....get the meat wagon this cat needs his nose reset sad

Sactown Shred

P.S....wore a different JB shirt this gig...."you know Joe is coming to town dontcha?".....I responded with "WHAT'S MY NAME?", the guy walked away bewildered, must have thought I was from another country or sumthin
