Topic: JHS SuperBolt

Newest pedal from JHS. Based of the tone of Drew Shirley's Supro Super amps. What do you guys think? It lists for $199. I think I might get one of these to compliment my Fulltone OCD. Drew Shirley is one of my biggest influences so I'm automatically intrigued.

I am always weary of "amp in a pedal" schemes (i have had my share and they are all gone).  Generally they are designed to deliver their results best with a super clean amp so depending on your rig, you will get mixed results.  Tough call really, as the demos I heard for this had me 50% excited/pleased and 50% thinking it sounded like a wet fart.  Pick one up, try it out fo r awhile, and after the honeymoon period is over give us honest feedback.  I would be interested to know how it works in real world, gig situations.
