Yes they did! The Browns are the youngest team in the league struggling to gel together and the weather was just as miserable for them.

Yeesh! 8-5 going into tonight's game...not too good.
I should have been 7-6, but the Bears actually woke up in the 4th quarter and pulled a win out of their collective *****.

Trent freakin Richardson, getting it done with a kevlar rib protector! Superman if you ask me, and what must be a fairly decent O line. Turns out ATL can win at Philly, at least this year. Matt Ryan was stellar leading them to scores on first 6 straight possessions. Turner looked very good as well. Congrats to Miami on a huge win, Jets are really sucking eggs.

Tune in tonight for a barn burner in KC, the 1-6 Chiefs facing the 3-4 Chargers. I think the over/under is 10, LOL!!!

Re: The NFL - National Football League

Barnbarner ? as Charles Barkley would say. SD should run away with this, and God knows Norv needs them to do just that.
SD
MIA - fins continue to impress
HOU
BALT - poor Trent is really beat up
DEN - PM on a roll
CHI
JACK - should be closer than one would think
GB
CAR - I gotta see this one, Cam can do better
OAK
SEA - too tough at home, especially when getting ref support
NYG - another close one, both QBs playing well
ATL - falcons D will force some more Romo errors, and they will be on Whitten like a hobo on a ham sandwich
NO - only because they are home, who cares

Re: The NFL - National Football League

Kansas City @ San Diego – Bolts in lock shock! KC look like this year's Rams.

Arizona @ Green Bay – Hard to imagine a GB defeat
Detroit @ Jacksonville – Detroit really should (and needs to) win
Chicago @ Tennessee – I'm sticking with da Bears.
Denver @ Cincinnati – Denver an almost lock, Peyton's in the groove again.
Carolina @ Washington – Should be fun to watch, have to stick with my boys.
Baltimore @ Cleveland – Have the Ravens recovered? Can they defend without......? I hope so.
Miami @ Indianapolis – This could easily go either way. I'm sticking with the Fins.
Buffalo @ Houston – THE lock of the round, surely?
Minnesota @ Seattle – Seattle should be too good at home.
Tampa Bay @ Oakland – Meh, a home win, I guess.
Pittsburgh @ NY Giants – Should be an exciting and close game, Giants on a mini-roll
Dallas @ Atlanta – Yes indeed, how will they lose this week? big_smile

Philadelphia @ New Orleans – If there is a god in NFL heaven he will arrange for Brees to wipe the floor with these Eagles, Vick to contribute with three picks and two fumbles.

RIP Iron Man

Holy guacamole! 44 points scored. To be honest I figured SD would come out with guns ablazin'. KC is pathetic and Romeo Crennel is on the hottest coaching seat in the NFL(Not For Long).

Norv is a great offensive coordinator just like Romeo Crennel is a great Defensive coordinator. They don't cut it as head coaches for some reason, both having numerous chances. My advice, go with what ya know!!! I watched the first half @ the bar where I met Norv and his wife back in his days with the Pigskins.

Actually, that is some good advice.  You can add another one to that list as a head coach, Jason Garrett.  There are rumblings in Dallas as well.  Sometimes you are just better suited for one job, then another.  And then it depends on talent and other things.

Alex Smith did like having Norv Turner as his offensive Co-ordinator.  And Norv is a very nice guy.
If he wants, he may find another OC job after 2020.

We are having our 2nd go around with Greg Knapp as OC.  And just like I think Gregg Knapp is a very nice guy, I am just not sure about having him again.

AJ is the only reason Norv is still here this year. Soon, both will be hitting the road. Both of their heads on a pike is the general hue and cry in town. The commentary by the leading sportswriters is scathing. They give letter grades. Norv has gotten two F- and a D+ lately. The defense for the record he states is the AFC is so bad that a .600 record will make the playoffs. Give me a break! roll
We'll ship him up to help out the Raiders with glee.
