Topic: Tulsa

Well another great night of Joe live at the Brady Theater. Same set as Tuesday in Dallas and just as good. I can listen
to India/Mountain Time over and over and over. Love the acoustic opening and then the show just rocks and his work at the end on Just Got Paid is awesome. Cool tonight as Joe had them play Tulsa Time as the intro song.
Got into the M&G, my thanks to Andy at J&R and Jim Moody, and my Bonamassa Epiphone is now signed and will be
prominently displayed. For those who will see the upcoming shows I am envious. Can't wait for Joe to come back around again.

Re: Tulsa

I was in center section, 5th row... fantastic as usual, but the audio mix seemed a bit off for the first few electric songs. The people behind me were pretty noisy, complaining that Joe was just playing, not talking.
What did they think I paid for?

My name is Red. I like the Blues.

2009 Squier J-Bass, 2010 Fender CD-60, 2010 Ibanez Artcore AS-73, 2011 Squier Vintage Modified Jaguar SS Bass, 2011 Dillion Phoenix
Turn the volume to 11!

Re: Tulsa

Sorry to hear that Red. I was a little further back on the floor and I did not notice that issue. Maybe you were getting a little more sound from the on stage equipment. I was probably about 13-14 rows back.

Re: Tulsa

From last nights show. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNcKPM8jAeo I don't usually sit in the sweat zone but I made an exception for this one. Sitting with some friends from Tulsa. This is the scene of the Bonabaptism for me. Spring 2002 as part of the Tulsa Blues Fest. Me and 200 other lucky souls witnessed it. This time a near capacity crowd with only a few nose bleeds not filled. Tulsan's love their Joe B.

Really a different set for those that saw the Spring tour.

Midnight Blues

Re: Tulsa

Joe was GREAT in Tulsa November 1st! I had seen him in Oklahoma City in April so I was very glad of the set change! To hear him do songs from DTTD just made my night! And then to add "Midnight Blues" topped it off for me! He is just the best there is and I will continue to go see him every chance I get!
The acoustic set was a very nice change also. I loved it!

Joe, you are the best there is on this earth!
