Topic: Joe Bonamassa is going to be on the Mark and Brian Show! ( KLOS 95.5)

For those who don't know, The Mark and Brian show is a morning radio program out of LA. I called the show about a month ago asking them to get Joe as a guest. I didn't get on the air, but the person on the phone knew and loved Joe's music.
I think he will be on this Thursday Aug. 23rd
The show is on from 6-10 am Pacific time. I think KGON in Portland Oregon is the only show that streams the program. Here is a quick link so you don't have to sign up to the KGON site.

Fantastic!!  Thats exactly what we need in Sacramento, those guys are on the "eagle 96.9 " every morning. I'm pimping this big time tommorrow at work and on the street. I'm e-mailing " the eagle " right now. I sent them more than a few on Joe already, now there going to find out what I'm talking about.

Patient I'm not, Sac town will never be the same, I'll call the radio station and talk to Bob Keller tommorrow, he does the 12-4pm show. He's cool (has the same birthday as me too!)

This is huge!!! It's the radio version of Leno or Letterman. Mark & Brian are syndicated and heard in markets all over the country. This is probably as good of an exposure as you can get on the airwaves. Hope the whole world is listening that day.

Thanks for the thought, unfortunately my copy won't be here till Fri. I've had a lot goin' on and didn't order till Sun. night. Not to worry though I just stream it from Amazon when I need a fix. I never thought Bad Co.'s original of Seagull could be any finer, but leave it to Joe to take that bird to new horizons.

Mark and Brian can be a two edged sword. A few mayoral elections back in San Francisco they decided to come to SF and for some reason had their picture taken with incumbent mayor Frank Jordan in his shower of all places. The photo hit the front page of the Chronicle and the backlash cost Jordan the election. Only in San Francisco, well maybe the voters in Minn. electing Jesse "The Body" Ventura gov. might come close, and OH YEAH! look at the DORK that governs the Golden State!!!

Thought I'd give you an update on the show. I didnt listen to the start of the show at 6am pst, tuned in after 7:30. I'm waiting and thinking are they going to have Joe on or what. Well the very last 30 seconds Brian says " tommorrow we have Joe Bone-a-massa or is it Bonamassa in the studio tommorrow, heard a couple of his songs, amazing musician" well it was real close to that. I got pissed, I'm thinking "come on get his name right dude". As soon as " the eagle" went to Bob Keller after the show he put in a plug " dont forget to check out the Mark And Brian show tommorrow, Joe Bonamassa is in the studio, we've had a few calls already on him the last few days".

Just to let you know in the past they have taken phone callls for the musicians in the studio, so tune in, you might get to say hi to Joe and tell the world this is WAY!! overdue. If I can get through the phone lines, I'll be ready, hope you are also, forum friends of Joe.

At the show's open they played most of Ball Peen Hammer and said this guys great and he's going to be in the studio at 9 am.  Unfortunately, doing the math 9 am pacific is 11 am central, and I'm busy then.  Hope somebody (Shred or whoever) will let us know how it goes.  I suppose it'd be too much to hope for that they'd archive the stream of Joe's appearance like BBC 2 Radio did.

They just announced it is 9:00 Pacific and it is full band !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  YEAH !
