Followed by an Afterglow special show by Glenn Hughes at 7pm.
Just when I get it down to give a listen to Joe's show at 10:00 pst, the Brits go and change up their clocks.
Edit: it will get back to my norm when we change up our clocks in a couple of weeks.

Don't forget that Glenn will have a special Afterglow show on right after Joe's.
Yes I did see that too. Thanks.
What's Goin' On?!
Rock ON Keep the Marvinless Faith,
Rocket
At last Free with an awesome track, Joe should do this. 'Be my friend'
Be My Friend - Free
From the underrated album Highway.
The Stealer
Also from Highway.
This is great. I am back in 1970
And it's followed by Blind Faith with Clapton with his sweetest sounding lead.
Todays full playlist.

Sittin' By The Dock Of The Bay Otis Redding
Do Right Woman Do Right Man Aretha Franklin
What's Going On Marvin Gaye

The Stealer Free
Presence Of The Lord Blind Faith And Eric Clapton
Slow Dancing In A Burning Room John Mayer
The Mover Free
good show tonight listening right now.. Really cool with special guest Andy Fraser and all the Free tunes!
I say more special guests like tonight
Awesome show!! Always enjoying hearing Free songs other than All Right Now, which is probably the most overplayed song ever!! Enjoyed hearing Otis Redding as well, who doesn't get played nearly enough.
Its a second (continuation) Andy Fraser interview. "Heavy Load" by Free.
Wot, no playlist posted yet? This was probably the first time I haven't jotted them down too. Please fill in the gaps if you listened to the show.
This was another fascinating show with guest Andy Fraser. I had no idea that the surviving members of Free were contemplating reforming for the Olympics opening ceremony. Surely Joe would have been the perfect candidate to step into Koss's shoes. Joe suggested Angus Young could emulate Koss's tone but, personally, I'm not sure he could match up in the vibrato dept.
River of Tears - EC (good to hear a track off Pilgrim as I was beginning to think I was the only one who likes it)
Since I've Been Loving You - Led Zeppelin (You may have heard me singing along to this above the sound of the fireworks last night )
War Pigs - Black Sabbath (a great track with huge power- reminded me of the Gov't Mule gig on 4th July when Ian916 and I were shouting out "War Pigs, War Pigs" at Warren. )
Something by Dr John (not sure, can't remember, then something by The Meters, who Joe has played a fair bit of in the past.
Breaking Up Somebody's Home - Albert King (Blues deluxe if you like)
Heavy Load - Free (I think this was the only Free track this week)
My mind's gone a bit blank (senility setting in) and I can only remember the last track, which is the unforgettable:
Railroad Boy - Gov't Mule ( "I died for Looooooooooooooooooooooooooove! - specially for Jane )
Couldn't listen due to family event so just for you
18:02 River Of Tears Eric Clapton
18:10 Since I've Been Loving You Led Zeppelin
18:18 War Pigs Black Sabbath
18:29 Right Place Wrong Time Dr John
18:32 People Say The Meters
18:40 Heavy Load Free
18:45 Feel Like Breaking Up Somebody's Home Albert King
18:50 A New Day Yesterday Jethro Tull
18:54 Railroad Boy Gov't Mule
I always enjoy the setlist postings on the days I don't get to listen. Fun to see what Joe decides to go with, and often sparks me to pull something out of my collection. Or possibly add something to it.
Thanks for the full list Mr Smith. How could I forget ANDY! Doh! This is definitely one of those songs where another version (Joe's in this case, of course) is better than the original.
Phil
