Re: London Souls
This will be my last participation in other artists for a good while. My ears are ringing a great deal and I've got to give them a rest. I don't plan to stop elsewhere though.

Well geez Curby, "I'm So Mad" at this cause "I think I like this" London Souls, very much.
In fact, if they are in the neighborhood, I would like to check them out live. They seem like a blast.
You are one of the gatekeepers of introducing new bands and I look forward to what you have coming next.
Take care of yourself and your lovely wife. Tony Randall had ringing in his ears called "Tinnitus". You may not have that and just need a break, but just to let you know there is a certain condition that does this, other than going to a Metallica Concert. It's nice to have peace and quiet to give our ears a break. I know you had knee surgery too.
So just take it easy, and look forward to your other posts
If you ever need some fur to give your ears a muffle, just let me know. I can spare some fur to help muffle your ears.
Take Care, The RiverCat^-^
Re: London Souls
Take care Curby. I have tinnitus and have had it for a very long time due to noise damage from jets and surgery on both ears from years in the water. An annoyance but liveable.

Re: London Souls
Thanks Cat and Rick for the support. Other than writing this post about the The London Souls, I've put the music on hold. I will say that I've kept my word from day one when I joined this forum to seek out new music and bring it to anyone here interested. If I'm going to quit for awhile to get my ears back in order then I couldn't have stopped with a better band. Watching that video "I Think I Like It" almost makes cry with envy (of the young). And the cool thing is these guys are making music that honors the bands of my generation. London Souls are just that, paying homage Led Zeppelin, Cream, Hendrix (he became famous originally playing in and around London), The Who and The Police. There's a couple songs that sound like they could've been on Houses of the Holy, only these guys don't sound like Zeppelin, they sound like they're reinventing that sound and making it their own. Make no mistake these kids play in a modern band. Here's their website where you can listen to full length songs (strongly suggest) and there's also a nice review about the album included.

http://youtu.be/drYyFYVsIgA Had to include this to dedicate to my buddy Mike Craggs. Definitely Brit Rock a la Black Sabbath. Very riff driven and a cool video to boot
Here's a song that really hits home for me. The album was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London and this tune has a bluesy/Beatle jingle going on. A fine last tune to post and hope somebody likes it too.

Re: London Souls
Good stuff Curby. A nice spot to take a rest. Music from another time revisited. Six Feet is somewhat Beatlish even.

Re: London Souls
Looks like a new album's coming soon. They released a couple singles two weeks ago. This is definitely a band I want to see live. The epitome of the three piece kickass band. Long live rock!
Re: London Souls
Hey Curby,
Thanks for updating this and letting us know they have a new album out. I'd love to catch them live too. Let me know if they ever hit your neck of the woods and what their show is like.
There are so many great bands out there hard to keep up, which is a good thing
