great stuff Stefan. I've been challenged by a friend to write and record an original song before December. If all goes well I'll post here.
Hey guys, just wanted to share my videos with you.. Im 13 years old and I've been playing guitar for one year and a half..
Please, tell me what you think.. Its very important for me...
Fantastic videos Vince, i liked those fast runs and you're definitely progressing faster than most guitarists ive seen (including myself). Keep us updated, hope to see more from you as you progress

I was lucky enough to play with a great group of musicians today including a keyboard player which was a first for me. jamming regularly has done wonders for my ear.
I have noticed that I tend to stay in pent position 1 though. Any tips or different position licks for breaking out of it guys?
Welcome to Jake and Vince, sorry I'm late. Lots of young talent here. I'm so happy you all help each other. That's the idea Cathy
Hey guys, here's a video from a gig on Saturday night the Spud-a-licious Benefit for Cancer Concert at the Clovercrest Hotel. This is the first time I've played with my own band playing my own songs. This song is a blues tune I wrote called Forevermore, I hope you all enjoy it!!

Doing Jimi Hendrix's Voodoo Chile (Slight Return) with my band!
Hope y'all like it!!

both are quite excellent Stefan, keep up the hard work cause it's paying off. At your age I was still trying to figure out Sweet Home Alabama. seriously, you need to get to the states and get hooked up with Mike Varney at Shrapnel Records, I think he would love your stuff.

Cheers Tres!! I play because I love it, I have no intense practise regime I just play when I want to and play things I enjoy.
All the best,
Stef
Excellent as ever.
I thought I'd toss up this little offering by Steve Costello, another young player heavily influenced by Joe. He doesn't come on here much but I think you'll like his tune.

SMOKIN' Rick, and I love the song name. Now how old is he, do we know?

I think he is around 21 or so. He has music on this forum somewhere. Maybe even a thread. Fantastic player, you should check his site and listen to some of the JB covers he's done. Usually a LP player and he has a full setup with JBLP goldtop and Jubilee, but he seems to get around the fretboard on a Strat ok too.

DAAAAAAMN.....Dude can play. Here he is on a Lester Paulie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-zB4uum … ure=relmfu
Is that what I think it is behind him, that I'm assuming he's playing through?

Why, yes it is! His dad got him the rig when the talent was recognized worthy. I said he was a fan of The Man. Really nice guy too.
Steve won the affiliate contest, and won a trip to the RAH. So JB's has been an influence for years Here's a clip from Patty,s post about that show from 5/09
Also, a special shout out to Steve Costello, his mom, and sister who were in attendance. Steve won the contest. What a very kind young man he is. Steve, I didn't even know where to begin to find you at RAH and missed you at Coccoon. Congratulations again and I hope the concert was everything you dreamt it would be. I know you think the world of Joe and aspire to be as great as him some day
