Right on Bubba...you my nummawun Dawg!!.....seriously, there are so called experts (MLB channel) as well as people on this forum who may not think the Gigantes have a chance, but I really believe in destiny....I have watched this team all season and there is something really special that I cant put my finger on....I have not heard anyone talk about the managers pulling the right strings, but I think Bruce Bochy will be the key to the entire series, the man can flat manage....one last thing....if Angel Hernandez is picked to umpire this world series, his name will be remembered for all time as the one who "choked", the cat is absolutely the worst umpire I have ever seen in my life...."HORRRRRIBLE", as Bill Walton would say

Well, I have absolutely no personal connection to either team, nor am I in any way emotionally invested, so I'm hoping for a classic series in seven, and may the team that most deserves it win.

On the one hand, my gut would lead me to favor the Giants simply because they're the NL team, and are supported by numerous forum buds here. wink Agree Shreddy, that they seem to have some kind of supernatural, destiny mojo going....

On the other hand, I was hugely, mega impressed by the Tiger's complete and utter humiliation of the Yanks. big_smile If Verlander has still got what made my jaw drop - twice - he will win two games.

So, I'll be watching just to enjoy...though I reserve the right to come out for one team or the other after tonight's opener! cool

It is primetime.....on the East Coast, like there's actually something going on back there??? Pre-game @ 4:30 and first pitch @ 5:07 Left Coast times.....where the action is!!!

Thanks Jason, there's a new Senor Octubre!!! 1 down 3 to go, more particles!!! Can't think of a downside to the entire game aside from having to listen to Joe Buck & Tim McCarver. Hell, they even sounded like they were behind the Giants most of the time.

PANDA, PANDA, PANDA...WOW. (I have collected stuffed bears for years and I am partial to pandas) Honestly, I thought Verlander would make your team work way harder to score. Besides the great win..Beautiful park you have there with the scenic water in the background.  And, I loved the energetic elderly lady with the gray hair they kept showing, so young at heart. And, I thought the Irish police officer singing God Bless America was exceptional! I think you have every right to be on cloud 9! Great night in San Fran!

PANDAMONIUM indeed, what a show. Of course you have to get fairly decent pitches to hit, Verlander was OFF his game and served up a delicious buffet. I think they said he didn't throw a slider until his 58th pitch?? Really enjoyed seeing Timmy coming out of the pen, looked like the non-smoking Timmy. lol
