Topic: Hi from Springfield, IL

New member. Landed here last night after searching for info on the Dunlop JB95 wah pedal. Only recently started actively listening to Joe after having purchased his signature Fuzz Face pedal last year. Had no expectations based on his endorsement (I actually use it totally differently than he) but I've known of him since Bloodline, he has always been on my radar via various guitar magazines and I have always respected him. A last-minute chance to see him here earlier this year and it was a fine show. Met him afterwards (got my pedal signed) and then started soaking more of his catalog in; I've learned a lot and am happy to be here, but will probably spend most of my time in the Guitar/Amps/Gear section. I'm afraid my gear won't ever hold up to what's being talked about in that section, but I just like keeping up with what Joe's using since, technically, I've been doing that long before I ever actually heard any of his solo material. Ha!

I make it down to St. Louis to play/catch a show every once in a while. Local (sort of) cheers to you!

Funky Monkey, Joe Bonamassa will be playing the Fox Theatre on Saturday, November 3rd! It will be his first appearance at the Fox and should be a FABULOUS show!

I did not know that, but one of my bands is booked at the Rose Bowl in Urbana and no way to back out now or do both. Ugh! sad  Shoot...and I was just thinking last night that I should get my wah pedal signed to really match my Fuzz Face...

FWIW, regarding what brought me here in the first place: I permanently installed the JB95 signature wah to my pedalboard last night and can't wait to play out with my completed rig tonight! Finished wiring at 12:40 (am) and, of course, had to test everything. big_smile Bedtime at 2:30, work at 7. Hello coffee!!!
