Topic: Not a JB, burst or NGD...

...but just wanted to post for you guitar lovers these rough shots to celebrate my Standard's 20th birthday - dating from the S/N, she rolled out of Nashville on Oct 20 1992.

I've had her about 18 years. The original Gibson USA case has got a bit beaten up. And she plays beautifully.

Nice one....:)

All Les Paul's are cool.... Most get better with age like a fine wine after they are broken in...:)

And so castles made of sand melts into the sea, eventually.........

Re: Not a JB, burst or NGD...

She's beautiful !!!!

Re: Not a JB, burst or NGD...

Ouch! watch the paint on the hood!

Looks nice! I'm sure its very well broken in after 20 years and plays great. My uncle has a 91 Standard and it has a very nice feel to it overall.
AirportDon makes an excellent point. I'd say since she's wine red, it most definitely will get better with age-

But either get a better phone/camera or take a photo class!  ( haha)

Thanks all! She's a keeper.

I'd deduced from lurking on mylespaul the last few years that she's wine red - helrazr84 seems to agree but maybe I should see what oxblood looks like.

When I bought her she felt good, played great and looked nice. I thought she was brown! The sellers handwritten receipt said "Les Paul Mahogany" (guess she's got that too...)

She's in good nick but the crappy phone camera (and photography) hide the odd ding, pick scratches, sweat marks and fret wear wink Made to be played!

Nice!
