Topic: Joe Kicks A## at the Redwood Run

Joe played the Redwood Run biker rally last week as he has for the past few years.  In the past I just kind of heard him on stage from a distance while wandering the rally.  This year we got up close to the stage (really to be there for Foriegner, who was coming on next) and I got to see and hear Joe play up close. Wow, I mean WOW!!!  I have been to lots of blues concerts including BB King last year a the Love Ride, but this was probably, no definitely the best overall performance I've seen.  Even with the headliner coming up next, no one wanted Joe to leave the stage.

I picked up his CD and have been playing for everyone I know.  Hope to see Joe at Redwood again next year.

Did Jason Bonham happen to sit in with Joe at all?

I happened to see this review titled "Rolling Thunder Rattles Redwoods". Superlatives about Joe:

TeleFreakSteve here!
Welcome to the really cool part of the music scene, man. BB King would never have toured with Joe as his opener if he didn't know a musical genius when he saw one. And I'm not lecturing you either. I have now seen him twice and am plotting other ways to hear him again ASAP! He deserves the world to know about him. which is happening at almost a frightening rate.
I now have a recurring nightmare that he will become a Stadium-Only overnight sensation...NAAAAHHHHH! Not Joe. He is truly in it for the music, a thing of real beauty in us music freak's eyes.
I almost attended that festival but had other commitments that week, but I'm glad you got turned on to Joe. Spread the word, my friend. It becomes a really positive thing to do and you meet some outrageously nice and cool and genuine people along the way.
LOL to you Bikers out there!

PS: Steve Miller is playing a lot of dates this year in our areas, State Fairs and the like. Check it out!
