Looking at my Classic Rock calendar, on the wall in front of me, October 20th (1976) The Song Remains The Same premieres in New York City...
After a 5 year wait to get this out, would a couple of days made any difference, or am I missing something?

Paisley and patchouli with a headband. Hair now down to my shoulders at the request of the wife a few months ago. She must have had a vision. Retro hippy here we come!

A brilliant full stop on their career if they choose to finish. If they don't, expect great things to come!
Just back from seeing Celebration Day. Just superb. The editing of so much awesome vision, including close shots of the bands intimate interaction with each other and their joy makes this one of the great concert movies.
If you're a lover of great rock virtuosity and showmanship, beautiful Les Pauls, great tone, live in a timezone where it's not yet Wednesday evening and were thinking of not taking your one chance to see this on the big screen, give yourself an uppercut, think again and GET THERE!

The looks, the laughs and smiles. Truly wonderful to see.
Saw some business associates today and mentioned it. They were all over it too as soon as I told them and were spreading the word to friends. Can't wait!

All you lucky people who were there! I remember at the time wishing I could go, now at least I'll see the movie tonite - hope the sound goes to 11!

As the movie started, the volume was rather low. Quickly a hundred or so aging rockers began to chant, TURN IT UP! TURN IT UP! That didn't bring a proper response so a half dozen or so left the scene to take care of things. Soon they returned, the movie was restarted at a proper level for "ROCK". Awesome show. Applause from the crowd after every song. A heck of a good time.
