WHICH SETTINGS WHEN JOE PLAYED AND USUALLY PLAYS WITH TS9 AND BLUESBREAKER AMP

Re: TS9 SETTINGS WHEN JOHN PLAYS WITH MARSHALL BLUESBREAKER AMP ON BOB SHO

I'll have to dig up this old thread because I'd like to know this too. On here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMoPLc8bay0
he's using what seems to be a 1974x combo with a Tubescreamer on top. Or is it a Class 5? Definitely no JTM45 Bluesbreaker.
Does anyone know the amp settings?

My class 5 sounds about the same using a ts808 and nothing else. Can't have volume up too close to half or it gets fizzy. If you're trying to get that with a class 5, you have to keep the EQ a little before noon, play around with it, and derive some of the gain from the pedal.

I can tell you Claptons settings on the Bluesbreaker LP... Everything at 11.  And when a studio producer tells you to turn down you tell them this is how I play!

I usually run the Tube Screamer full out with the tone set between 10 and 11 o'clock...  Then all you have to do is turn the volume up on the Bluesbreaker or DSL-100 to taste....  It works... Only exception is when I borrow my friend John's 1966 original Bluesbreaker... No tube screamer needed there... Instant Beano...
