You're welcome! :-) LOL

The ESPN gang and national media sure didn't talk much about the fact that the replay officials in the booth were not replacement officials...they were part of the regular crew. But like they teach in journalism school, "Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story." That tidbit of information didn't coincide well with the ongoing replacement official saga I guess.

Got to remember too that Goodell works for the owners and must represent their wishes. He wasn't acting atonomously when he locked out the officials over a reported 3M. The NFL owners got what they asked for.

Oh well, I think the catch that will live in infamy with cheese heads across the county has been beaten to death...onward!

Thanks Rick, I'm always hopeful! The Browns had the national spotlight a few years back vs. a strong NYG team and pummeled them handily, which I keep reminding my NYG fan buddy Gary. Stranger things have happened, but I still think Cleve. had a better shot with the pseudo refs.

Sorry George, don't know what the hay handegg is, but I would need not just my own two hands, but a third as well to play...

See, all it takes is me to rant and problem solved!  Start complaining about calls, the caution flag has been lifted...but there is only one lapse to go...your complaints are never replacement complaints...or misdirected...

Borrowing yours a bit GL;
Browns at Ravens - Ravens all the way
Patriots at Bills - The Bills bubble will burst
49ers at Jets - 49ers to bounce back from replacement refereeing call that cost them a game and maybe a playoff berth down the road, I mean, I'm just, dija see,.......jus' sayin'
Seahawks at Rams - Seahawks have never had luck...ever
Panthers at Falcons - Falcons on a roll and at home
Vikings at Lions - Lions to bounce back off the turf next week
Chargers at Chiefs -  Chiefs have not enough Indians with them, Dodge City special event this weekend?
Titans at Texans - Texans on a roll, Titans in a slump, possible surprise, but I don't believe it - yet
Bengals at Jaguars - Bengals to edge it?  I'll take the smaller cat
Raiders at Broncos - Raiders do the pleasure while Peyton does his business.
Dolphins at Cardinals - Cardinals fall off Perch and all seafooled diet
Redskins at Buccaneers - Redskins have historically lost to thieving pirates
Saints at Packers - Hard to imagine either losing again but Packers will be out to prove a point.  I think Saints.  But if ONLY one team had homey reffing, truth be told it would be in Green Bay.  Harsh.  Not recent results qualified commentary...Money is green ad, I am not yellow saying it.
Giants at Eagles - Oops! Setter bites

Bears at Cowboys - I'd love to see the Bears take this one! BAH! Speakin' of thieves...Who wouldn't???

Green Bay DID get screwed with a call so obviously wrong on a fumble by Sproules, so I retract my homey ref comment about the Packers.  Call SO BAD I hafta wonder if the melee made for a purposely "blown" call by the head referee, as the Pack mobbed the refs physically (my personal opinion is some of the players are still lingering in the sandlot game and rules modes-I expect more of the same with the upcoming Eagles-Giants game) and the head ref NOT amused.

Houston, Arizona, Atlanta-look for 2/3 to lose within a week or 2 or 3?

Re: The NFL - National Football League

I think I lost another five years during the second half of the Skins game. If that useless Cundiff hadn't missed three earlier FGs it wouldn't have gone down to the wire. All Skins fans were convinced that we'd lose - major surprise that we didn't.

How sickening must it be to pass for 446 yds and three TDs and still lose? sad

A much better week for picks, only two major shocks for me, Vikings and Rams.

I had those "shockers", Amsterhammer, we tie with Giants-Eagles and Bears-Cowboys forcing either of us into needing to have both correct to finish second outright behind Mike this week.  Rick has Pittsburgh winning even though they don't play this week...Chicago or Dallas?

Oakland really is bad.  Look for improvement, but add huge maybe.  I think they're better than record OR game execution indicates presently.  Saints back to Daze Of Olde???!!! 0-4?  Prepick for next 2 games as consecutive wins...or they are pre-merger Saints again!

Re: The NFL - National Football League

Thanks.  11-3 so far this weekend.  However, for the most part, the teams that were supposed to win did win.  I think we all have a little better visability of who these teams are turning out to be this year.

Denver looks to be the best so far in the AFC West Division.

Oakland is too confused to have a clue to what they are doing.  Without the running game, they can't pass.

While watching the fumble, sack & intercept game between my Homephins & the Desert Redbirds, in the last quarter after Miami jumped ahead, Ms.Tia looked at me and said "There's too much time left."

"Very perceptive!" quoth I.

Tia: "They are undefeated, if the Dolphins get cocky..."  If they get tired, I interrupted to say.

So we had our collective heart attacks in OT and I used the Lord's name in vain...a LOT.  I can really cuss... about their ancestry, their eating habits, their sexual preferences, and their lack of personal hygiene...

Nice win for the Bears on MNF. If they can get their offense rolling a bit, they could be tough to beat.
