Topic: Monte Montgomery

I had the pleasure of getting to see Monte Montgomery last night. I had seen him a couple of times over the last 3 years. Once with band and once solo. Have never listened to his albums but knew he was a world class player.

Last night I came away realizing he isn't just a great guitar player but the guy can sing. It was a show I think music lovers in general would enjoy even if you have never heard his studio releases. Don't miss him if you get a chance. He is on to Dallas tonight at the Granada.

Monte is opening for Joe at the MN Zoo on Sept. 6. I've read nothing but great things about Monte since finding out he was on the same bill as Joe. Should make the evening that much more spectacular!
