Topic: Hello all

Hi--I discovered joe's music by watching the live from The Royal Albert Hall special on PBS.  I'd never heard of him..was just switching channels and fell upon the special. I was immediately mesmerized--i thought...who the hell IS this guy?  And that was followed by--why is he not a household name?  Anyway...nice to be here....you seem like a cool bunch of people.

Welcome to the forum. We all understand your response to your first Joe exposure. I'm a big fan of David Gogo, who also lives in Vancouver, a beautiful area, I may add. Enjoy!!!     Cathy

I'm with dknight16, nice to see new fans signing up and checking in.  Your experience is not unique pelajane1, lots of people get blown away by seeing a live Joe show, even on the tube.  They are even better in person.

You've found a great source for Joe info and interaction with other fans.

Play like you've worked at it, and don't worry about sounding like your influences.  You can't cheat on them, or your practice, anyway.  If you've worked hard at your skill, your audience will know it.

Welcome, I too am a new fan.  There is just something in Joe's playing isn't there.  Glad to meet you.
