Topic: Hi from London

Hello everyone

This is a great little forum and it seems a shame not to join the fun.

I've been into Joe since ANDY (see I know the acronyms through snooping here :-)). I love blues, rock, metal, pop-but Joe I listen to daily. Never been such a fan of another artist-watch all the youtube clips, buy all the albums. It was his amazing playing that got me into him but I think my fandom is such due to him seeming like a great guy and always surprising me with his output.

Oh, I'm 26, live in London and play guitar too.

Look forwards to chatting with you.

Zack

Re: Hi from London

Another long time fan, and former forum lurker comes out into the daylight, so to speak.

Welcome!  From your short intro, and spot on observations about Joe, it's clear you'll fit right in.

Play like you've worked at it, and don't worry about sounding like your influences.  You can't cheat on them, or your practice, anyway.  If you've worked hard at your skill, your audience will know it.

Welcome, Zack!  Glad you decided to put the lurker trenchcoat back in the closet...   wink

London is a wonderful city and, as I'm sure you know, living there gives you about eleventy-billion more chances to see Joe live than some of us here in the States will have...
