Geoff, I wish I could have been there, too! I was all set to go up in a hot air balloon (that is Indianola's claim to fame--National Balloon Classic) but was upset that I wouldn't get to hear Joe LIVE. The weather here was getting a little "dicey" so I was having some second thoughts on the balloon ride, but it is such a THRILL to go up in one (if you never have and you get the chance, DO IT, it is a phenomenal experience) that I couldn't imagine passing it up, but my allegiance to Joe runs deep.....then Bob Harris comes on and says there is still time to send an email to him....the "lightbulb" goes off and I am thinking if I can't hear Joe I can write and tell him hello. My fingers flew like lightning on the keyboard. The show starts, my phone rings, my balloon pilot cancels the flight due to windy weather.......I sit right back down and smile...count my blessings....I get to hear Joe LIVE and You Upset Me Baby fills the room.....one very happy pattyluvsjoe...
and I was very surprised when he read my email as I had just gotten in under the wire....
