LOL Jane! ...that cheered me up! ...if you ever do realise i'd love to know! wink

...picked up the United States Gymnastic's coach tonight that needed to be at the venue real quick! ...a dash across London from the Westbury Hotel in Mayfair to the O2 ...a fete that required some tactical driving and ultimately a jump of a red traffic light ...but got him there! ...unfortunately the red traffic light was performed in front of an unmarked police car and supposedly i'm up in court in 7 days on a "dangerous driving" charge!? ...but i'll be in Spain at the time so i'm not sure if i won this one or not?!?  hmm ...fuzz 'em! ....i'm flying towards the sunlight regardless!

On behalf America, I thank you for your service. I suggest you send the ticket to them. If that doesn't work, take it to the American Embassy, request asylum, and go to Spain wink     Cathy

Re: Have you won anything lately? Or ever?

Ha! I forgot the biggest win I had. Conducting business in the construction industry, we used to attend a lot of AIA (American Institute of Architects) banquets/fundraisers.
I would always but a single raffle ticket ($100 each).
After dinner when they were pulling tickets for a multitude of prizes, I was in deep conversation with the person next to me when someone at our table said "Hey, they just called your name". I went up to the stage and found out I won the grand prize. 5 day trip for two to South Beach. All inclusive, airfare, awesome hotel right on the beach, all meals, architectural tours (we only went on two of them).
The trip date was fixed (use it or lose it) and happened a week after I had rotator cuff surgery, which put a small damper on things.
The highlight? At some point after winning the trip, I went online and checked Joe's tour schedule. Wow, Joe was opening for BB in Sunrise, Fl at the Frank Sinatra theater...about an hour from South Beach! I snapped up two tickets and squeezed in another HB show, albeit an abbreviated one.

I'm guessing this was worth about $4000.

I never win anything so at a company picnic some years back when I won the bingo game I was really excited. The prize? A gigantic bottle of ketchup! mad I gave the guy the stink eye and told him to keep the ketchup!

I'm sorry but your story cracked me up.  I can't believe they would just give away a bottle of ketchup.
No hotdogs?   I am sorry you didn't win more.  I never win anything either.  Keep on trying Barbie. That is what I am doing.

I do have to say one of my biggest wins was a stuffed animal at a Raider Party.  It was exactly the prize I wanted.  My Big Dog in his Oakland Raider outfit.  I named him Tooz and he's my trusty companion at home and when I go to Oakland to see Raider games.

Us Raider fans are a bit strange, but he fits right in with the crowd.

It's all good RiverCat! The next year I called the bingo game instead of playing it. Much more fun!
