Still thinking about it.
Probably I will be too tired from the day before with 12 hours of music. Hope that it won't rain all day. A bit of sunshine would be nice. On the other hand it's going to be my first muddy festival ? ?
Just found out KWS is playing at The Whiting in Flint on Nov. 3rd. 11th row tickets, so I'm pretty happy about that. Note to Joe: this is a perfect venue for your next Michigan show!

I envy you! I was at his recent London gig, KWS and his band were incredible. I really hope it's not too long before I get the chance to see him again.

Wasn't there on Monday. Had not enough energy for the trip.
There was some sunshine after the first gig. For half an hour it came to my mind that I could get a sunburn. But when I watched out at the tent during the next gig it started raining cats and dogs. In the evening it stopped raining and one could step out again from the tent into the mud.
Best band on Sunday - at least for me - was Ten Years After though I had to leave my place at the front cause the sound mix wasn't good there and very loud. In the middle of the tent sound was perfect and I really enjoyed their gig which was far toooo short. It's amazing how fresh this music still is. North Mississippi Allstars was my No. 2, followed by the French guy Philippe Menard. And of course it was something special to see B.B. King first time ever.
Disappointment of the day were El Fish and the French Fries.
Just got my ticket for Joanne Shaw Taylor in Glasgow in October. Seen her last year, and she was incredible. Can't wait for this gig and her new album!

I got my ticket this week for Glasgow too. I'm very much looking forward to her new CD too, I'm sure it'll be great!

My last gig was Lewis Hamilton & The Boogie Brothers in Aberdeen last night. It was a great gig with a good mix of original songs and covers. Good to meet Gordon, GGM1903, from the forum too.
Next gig is Mark Lanegan in Aberdeen at the end of August.

I agree with you about how great a guitar player she is. Saw her for the second time on July 25 in Annapolis, Maryland and recorded this song.

Ana's looking in top form. Hard to believe she just gave birth to her 2nd child Lena on June 1st. She's gonna be in my neck of the woods Sept. 16, 17, & 18. Will catch one if not 2 dates.
