The person who wrote this was not very bright, is most certainly miserable, but smart enough not to sign it with a real name. Believe me, anyone of us would "answer" that letter if we knew who to send it to. There have been some nasty comments made in some other parts of "Joe-world" and I for one hope it stays there.

I agree that I would pass it on to J&R. The fact that it was a letter and not an email or online posting would raise my concern. It also seems likely that the bully reads not only this forum but Facebook, JBXP, etc. as well.

The postmark was smeared by the post office during the passing through the machines. The letter was not signed and you cannot tell by the penmanship if it was authored by male or female. The envelope was taken back to the post office to see if they could help determine where it was postmarked, they could not figure it out either. The content of the letter sounds more of jealousy than anything else. From what I understand there were no "threats" or acts of aggression.
For those that have been asking about Patty, she has taken on another part time job, saving up for the VIP trip next March! I spoke with he briefly yesterday while she was working at the ballpark.

How anyone could write anything bad about PLJ. Is beyond my comprehension.I have been around here for 6 years and never have heard even a peep of anything bad from her or about her.I hope that she doesn't go away from here because of one mean spirited person.She embodies the love and spirit of this whole forum.This must have been real bad for her to not be on here.I would hope she comes back soon.If somone is jealous...jeez get a life!

Ok, gotcha. Well I'd say whatever was in the letter must have been pretty bad to go to the length of contacting the post office and all. Even the fact that if it were me and someone knew my address to have sent the letter would be a little creepy.. I doubt whomever wrote it will chime in regardless. The responses haven't been malicious in any way thus far, which is good. Believe me, I'm the first to run my mouth in cases like this when people stick their nose into my business, but that isn't always the best thing to do. And in this instance, gives more recognition than necessary to the author.

Good thing you put "imo" in there - I know more than a few guys who can be "bitchy." There are plenty of jealous guys in the world, it's not just an estrogen thing.

I had no idea this was an actual letter...assuming it was an email version. I gotta agree this is a bit creepy...knowing your address is out there.
I guess an actual letter is more difficult to trace than an email.

This incident has been bugging me all day.I can't seem to shake it. I don't know Patty other than to have met her to say hi.I don't know what was in said letter,but to know there was an attack on her is really messing with my pyche.So here I sit mad and sad.This forum has been and will continue to be a place to share our love of Joes music and all music that touches our very soul.Patty Loves Joe.Who could ever say it better?When I first came here,I saw her forum name and felt at home.I felt that I wasn't some crazy lunitic for hitting everybody over the head with this new JB guy.It felt all right.There a Patty Loves Joe saying it loud and proud.Not afraid to announce it to the world!Always posting loving thoughts about our guy.Don't let anyone take that from you Patty.
